About Me:

Something dark has been brewing in Jonesboro,Ar for the past several
years. Crawling,clawing its way across the south like a War Machine.
Leaving a trail of cult-like followers in its wake. A turbulent menacing
style of music that combines elements of metal,to form one of
Arkansas’s most promising bands, Painbreak, with the impending
release of the groups second full length album, The Epitome of Disease finds
themselves in a dark place,reconnecting with their passion for music
through tragic tales of loss and despair.
Painbreaks exceptional style of metal and work ethic is complimented by
the bands brutal live show..After spending the past to years rocking the mid-south,the bands tight sets of intensely passionate performances have won over fans from Memphis,TN to Littlerock, Ar..
Painbreak was formed in the fall of 2004 in an attempt to create music that not only rocked,but also explored the pain within..
After finding fellow musicians who shared the vision,Painbreak recorded an Ep Brutality at it’s Finest, which quickly helped the band amass a cult like following throughout NorthEast Arkansas..
In 2007 Painbreak won the first round of the Myspace battle of the bands in Memphis,TN . The following year Painbreak advanced through three rounds of the Bodog battle of the bands in Memphis,TN..
In late 2008 the band went through a line-up change and refocused their direction with Corby(vocals)James(Guitars)Jason(Bass)Jeremy(guitars) and Brad on the Skins filling out the sinister line-up
