Modern Crimes is a Straight Edge Thrash band from Drumondville Quebec. Originally formed in 2001 as A Perfect Murder, one of the top selling metal bands in 2003 with their release of Strength Through Vengeance. Three of the five members decided to leave the band and focus on other endeavors. In late 2007 after the release of War of Aggression the members of A Perfect Murder parted ways with Victory Records and decided to terminate the band all together. Modern Crimes has found themselves in a peculiar refreshing start with a new record label Misfortune Records and is poised to getting back to playing live again. Their first self-titled LP under the new name is being recorded at wild studio under producer Pierre Remillard with guest vocals from Bo Thompson from the band Snake eyes and Lone Wolf. With the mid 2008 release and a tour to follow the band is sure to recapture old fans and cement new ones in the coming months.

Circus of Dead Squirrels (CODS) is an original mix of metal, industrial, and rock located in Hartford, CT. Equipped with theater style squirrel masks and more sounds than any band you've ever heard on stage, CODS always manages to turn some heads wherever they perform. CODS have gained a large fan base worldwide as independent, self-promoting musicians. They recently traveled to Florida to play an unsigned artist industry showcase where they were scored on their performance. Of 20 bands, CODS received the second highest ratings from judges directly involved in the music industry. They have played numerous shows throughout the New England area in the past few years as well. They released an animated video for the song "Elmo's Last Laugh" last month and it can be seen right on www.circusofdeadsquirrels.com. CODS have also recently received a rave review of their latest album in Outburn Magazine (which can be read on their official website). Here is a quick recap of how Circus of Dead Squirrels came to be:
THE POP CULTURE MASSACRE AND THE END OF THE WORLD SING-A-LONG SONGBOOK
CODS returned to the studio in 2006 again with engineer Mark Alan Miller to record "The Pop Culture Massacre..." and the results were phenomenal. CODS even hired professional illustrator Travis Falligant (ibtrav.com) to do the album's artwork (which is certainly memorable to anyone who sees it). The album brutally attacked various characters from McDonald's, Sesame Street, and a good majority of the characters you'll find on any food product (just to name a few). The album was released in 2007 once again on ForaNatioN Records and was another underground hit.

The deepest, darkest corners of the human psyche, the hiding place of our fears, desires, and nightmares, comes the hauntingly aggressive sounds of Wisconsin’s HEBRON. Their music is the sound of the often-suppressed madness in all of us; fighting, screaming, and clawing at our souls in hopes of liberation. For many of us, these types of experiences are ignored, but for fans of Hebron and other like-minded death metal enthusiasts, in these dark places lies an endless source of inspiration and creativity. Boasting jaw-dropping guitar acrobatics, subterranean vocal shrieks, and a shockingly violent assault on the drums, HEBRON is a death metal tour de force, and the fans can’t seem to get enough. Their first full-length album, “Spill the Blood of the Innocent” was unleashed on fans only a year ago, and demand for more HEBRON music was instantaneous. In response to the overwhelming fan support, the five members of HEBRON went right back to the drawing board to begin work on a five song EP that will be released at the end of 2007. In addition to being seasoned studio musicians, HEBRON is no stranger to the road. Their “Midwest Massacre” tour, which began in February, sent them through a variety of venues in the Midwest, and plans for future touring are currently in the works. They have also shared the stage with a long list of nationally touring artists such as Mushroomhead, Destruction, As I lay Dying, In Flames, Machinehead, Cannibal Corpse, Flaw, Mark Rizzo(of Soul Fly), and Gwar, and they have played a variety of other prestigious gigs such as “The Sound Underground” and the Milwaukee Metalfest as well as achieving top honors in local “battle of the band” competitions and features in local music magazines. Where plans for the future are concerned, HEBRON will continue the constant search for new ways to showcase their sound to the public.

I saw your profile and thought that maybe you'd be interested in my music MAYBE.... I'll let you be the judge.
Let me just make clear that I'm not necessarily shopping for a label at this point. Just trying to build awarness of my music that's all.
Anyway....
My name is Aaron Cloutier and I'm an independent musician/songwriter from NH and if you're interested, I'd like to invite you to come check out some demos from my thus far one man metal project DAVOLA.
I tell everyone that the influences sound along the lines of Strapping Young Lamb of Meshuggahdon...... yep that sums it up.
Anyway, feel free to add me here as well as www. myspace. com/joeydavola if you dig what you hear.
If not, it's no big deal. Don't sweat it.
Take care
Aaron
