Like so many before has stated Dimebag changed the face of metal guitar playing, maybe not change, but i certainly took it to a new level. I am among the lucky ones that was touch be his guitar playing in more ways than one. What was a back breaking chore for others was a walk in the park for him, that's how he differed from the rest. Some one here wrote about brotherhood in metal and that was started by Dime and Vinnie. They made it cool to nice guys without attitude, treat everybody as an equal. Or so I've understood things, but since I never met Dime or Vinnie, well I just know in my heart that it is true. I do think Zakk Wylde said it best though: fuck the guitar playing, Dime was just a beautiful human being. It is a damn shame that he is not among us any more!!!

Most are too busy being the STAR to give much of thier time. Then I meet Dime and Vinnie after a show in Denver. I've loved the music since the beginning, but to see how real and down to earth these Metal Gods truley are, gave me a sense of true brotherhood in metal. Dime was out on the street corner signing everything and taking pics with fans, til everyone was taken care of. Then came back to the bus and still had more to give to me, BEERS. I had semi retired from music but for reasons all here know, I had to get back to life. Get my pull back. Thanks Dime for all the laughs and genuine heart felt appreciation to the fans. We love and miss you fierce RIP Brother DIME.
